The aim of the course “Epidemiology and Brain Health (certificate)” is an overview on the concept of brain health. This encompasses the diagnosis, causes, treatment, prevention, global changes in prevalence and risk factors of neurological diseases as well as an interdisciplinary insight in factors and strategies to promote and maintain brain health.

The course aims to empower students to acquire scientific evidence about brain health, to evaluate and interpret such data in a global and interdisciplinary context and to develop population or individually-based strategies for a healthy brain for clinical praxis or health management.
