Osteopathy
The academic study program aims at presenting osteopathy in all its aspects and facets – including the most recent medical knowledge and research data, detailed medical background information as well as specific cranial and visceral techniques.
The repertoire of osteopathic techniques acquired in the first non-university part of the education will be broadened and strengthened in all directions. Another important part of the training focuses on the deepening of knowledge and skills of specific osteopathic examination and differential diagnosis and the interpretation of general diagnostic findings from an osteopathic point of view.
The “University course for Osteopathy” contributes to the students’ technical, professional and personal development on a scientific basis. A further focus is set upon the connection of theory and practice: A review of the latest scientific research in combination with a critical self-reflection of the students’ own osteopathic approach offers the continued advancement of the personal treatment competence.
For the first time we are going to start this education in osteopathic also in the Netherlands/Belgium.
