arte Hotel Krems

The arte Hotel Krems is located, as its name implies, in the arts district of this beautiful town on the Danube, directly opposite the campus of the University for Continuing Education Krems. In addition to the location, the modern architecture, the furnishing and the facilities gave the hotel its name. Arte stands for casual living on a 4-star level and offers a hotel atmosphere with a contemporary design. 

Kolpinghaus

The hotel Kolpinghaus is located directly on campus, in the heart of vineyards of Krems. All rooms are equipped with Internet Access (WLAN), satellite-TV, a small kitchen (without dishes) and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. Other facilities on-site include a cafeteria with a large terrace and a state-of-the-art conference room. During the summer break the rooms are offered to tourists. 

Steigenberger Hotel & Spa Krems

The Steigenberger Hotal and Spa Krems spoils its guests with comfort in a totally relaxing atmosphere. The country-house style hotel, located high above Krems and surrounded by vines, impresses with its extreme comfort, first-class cuisine - awarded with the "GRÜNEN HAUBE", and its own Wellness oasis.

Unter den Linden

Ideally situated in the heart of the city of Krems, at the entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wachau, the family-run Hotel Unter den Linden is just a few minutes’ walk away from many of the local attractions and from the Campus Krems. Providing an individual flair to each of the 39 guest rooms, the hotel often receives requests regarding a particular room. The hotel is especially proud of its 3 suites; offering a warm and cosy character.

Do I need to register to attend the conference? 

Yes, all participants (both speakers and listeners) are required to register via ConfTool. 

What fees do I have to pay to participate in the conference (as a presenter, chair or audience member)?

Please refer to our overview of staggered participation fees.

Are travel bursaries provided? 

No, travel bursaries will not be provided to participants.

I need a Visa to be able to attend the conference. Where can I get support for the visa application?

• It is the participant’s responsibility to obtain their visa. You are urged to apply for a visa in time. For general inquiries, or if you need an invitation letter from the conference organizers specifying the event’s details or a proof of conference registration or participation, please contact us at NOEG_2025@donau-uni.ac.at
• To assure a trouble-free application process, we strongly advise you to contact the competent Austrian representative authority in your home country for individual counselling.

My paper proposal has been accepted, by when and how do I have to submit my full paper?

Please upload your full paper via ConfTool by September 15^th, 2025.

My panel proposal was accepted. Is it enough if I am registered on ConfTool or do all authors of the papers have to register as well? 

Presenting authors must be registered individually by June 30^th, 2025 so that we can assign them to the panels. Please note that they also need to upload their paper via ConfTool by September 15^th, 2025.

I have submitted my own paper submission but am also involved in two other submissions as a co-author. Is this a problem?

Participants can be (non-presenting) co-authors of more than one submitted paper. 

Where can I find suitable accommodation as a conference participant? 

Room contingents are available in the following hotels until June 30^th, 2025. Please make your booking request directly with the hotels and mention the code “NOEG 2025”. Note that rooms at the Arte Hotel can only be booked via email or telephone, not through the online booking system.
