About the person
Elisabeth Donat is member of the scientific staff and deputy head of department at the Department of European Policy and the Study of Democracy. Before, she has been working at the Department of Sociology at the Universities of Vienna, Innsbruck and Salzburg. Elisabeth Donat finished her study in sociology at the University of Vienna. Her dissertation focused on causes and consequences of the digital divide. Several trainings in social sciences methods (qualitative and quantitative) are part of her professional profile. She has taught those skills in more than 50 courses at Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences.
In her research projects, she prefers to work inter- and transdisciplinary and is interested in the role of regions (subnational units) in EUs multi-level system.
