On 1 April 2023, Tina Gruber-Mücke will be taking over the position Head of Finance, Human Resources and Legal Affairs at the University for Continuing Education Krems. She holds a doctorate in economics and brings with her many years of experience in the field of university development.

As the leading public university for Continuing Education in Europe, the University of Krems is committed to addressing current and future societal challenges. Alongside research and teaching activities, ongoing development in the area of university administration plays a major role in the process.

Tina Gruber-Mücke's area of responsibility includes the service units Controlling, Purchasing, Financial Accounting, Human Resources Management, Recruitment and Personnel Development, and Legal and Human Resources, teamed with about 50 staff members. Until September 2022, the Division of Finance, Human Resources and Legal Affairs was headed by Prof Markus Fallenböck, who now serves as Vice Rector for Human Resources and Digitization at the University of Graz.

Tina Gruber-Mücke has been involved in innovation and organizational development processes for over 20 years. Since April 2021, she has served as University Director and Member of the Presidential Board at the Anton Bruckner Private University for Music, Drama and Dance in Linz.

A native of Upper Austria born in 1976, she studied law and economics at the University of Linz. After holding positions as assistant professor at the University of Linz and professor of organizational development at the University of Applied Sciences FH Upper Austria, she became deputy head at the Department of Interactive Media and Educational Technologies and head of the Center for Educational Technology Research at the Faculty of Education, Arts and Architecture at the University for Continuing Education Krems from 2016 to 2017. From 2018 to 2021, she worked at the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems as professor, program director and institute director. Tina Gruber-Mücke is the author respective editor of four books and over 30 scientific publications on innovation, competence and organizational development. She regularly holds lectures revolving these topics at universities and universities of applied sciences.
