Description

"Vorsorge Aktiv" is a health promotion program for adults at increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. It is developed and implemented under the mandate of the "Tut gut!" initiative. The 72-hour program builds on the three pillars of health: nutrition, exercise, and mental health. "Active Prevention" supports participants in making sustainable changes to their lifestyle for up to 9 months. The Centre for Evaluation is tasked with evaluating a sample of participants according to sociodemographic characteristics with data provided by “Tut Gut!” and describing possible changes seen through participation in the program. In addition, the quality of the data will be evaluated and participants perception of the program will be presented. Finally, possible conclusions and recommendations for the further development of "Vorsorge Aktiv" will be derived from the data. For indirect change measurements and descriptive statistics, the team at the Centre for Evaluation has access to psychometric data from questionnaires (N=439) and bioimpedance analyzes (N=592) from 2020 to 2022 which were collected at the beginning and end of the program. This project will be implemented with funds from the Lower Austrian Health and Social Fund (NÖGUS) from October 2022 to January 2023.
