Description

The Centre for Evaluation regularly presents programme- and project-relevant evidence in an understandable form and discusses it with practitioners from “Tut gut!” Gesundheitsvorsorge GmbH. The aim is to ensure that “Tut gut!” implements its prevention and health promotion activities in an evidence-based manner and that this is also supported by the practitioners working in the respective programmes and projects. In 2024, the topic of 'Mental health literacy in children and adolescents' was examined in more detail in the context of an evidence impulse. The evidence impulse took place on 10 October 2024 and could be followed locally in St. Pölten or online. It began with a brief refresher on the methodology of evidence syntheses, definitions of mental health and mental health literacy, epidemiological data from Austria on children and adolescents, and the latest findings from two systematic reviews of educational interventions for children and adolescents. A representative of 'Tut gut!' provided information on initiatives, measures and projects in Austria. In order to make this valuable information available in the long term, a factsheet was produced containing the main content of the presentation as well as practical and further information. The project is funded by the Lower Austrian Health and Social Fund (NÖGUS).
