Description
Since 2014, 'Tut gut!' has been supporting workplaces in Lower Austria in the implementation of workplace health promotion. The aim of the 'Healthy Workplace' programme is to implement health-promoting measures in the workplace in order to maintain and promote the health and ability to work of employees. Between 10 and 15 new companies can be accepted into the programme each year. The lead time for a project cycle is about 1.5 to two years. At the end of the project period, companies that meet the criteria can be awarded the 'Tut gut!' badge as a certified 'Healthy Workplace'. The 'Tut gut! Gesundheitsvorsorge GmbH would like to have the programme externally evaluated and, in particular, assess the potential changes resulting from the project in the participating companies. To this end, an initial logic model will be developed in a workshop with 'Tut gut!' employees and ‘Healthy Workplace’ consultants in autumn 2024. Selected companies will then be continuously monitored by the evaluation team during their active participation in the ‘Healthy Workplaces’ program as part of a realist evaluation from early 2025. This approach allows for an in-depth analysis that goes beyond the mere measurement of results. By looking at specific contextual factors (C), possible effective mechanisms (M) and desired outcomes (O), it is possible to better understand how and why certain interventions may or may not work in different workplace settings. The initial logic model will be continuously developed as part of the realist evaluation. This project is funded by the Lower Austria Health and Social Fund (NÖGUS).
