Description

Unlock Digital explores the mechanisms of opinion formation on the internet, demonstrating how political statements are shaped more by social communication than by facts. Additionally, it addresses topics such as artificial intelligence, fake news, and critical engagement with digital media. In collaboration with the Center for Applied Game Research, didactic concepts are developed to present complex content in an interactive and comprehensible way. Target group analyses, playtesting, and iterative optimizations ensure a functional and content-rich prototype. The escape game promotes digital literacy, critical thinking, and a reflective understanding of online communication. It is intended for use in educational and public contexts, such as volunteer-led educational initiatives and community events. In the long term, the project contributes to public awareness and opinion formation by providing an accessible, scientifically grounded learning format.
