Description

In 2024, the Centre for Evaluation (ZfE) developed key advancements in the impact-oriented evaluation and monitoring system (E&M system) implemented by "Tut gut!"(German for ‘do good’). This monitoring system was developed through two projects: “Scientific Consultation and Support for 'Tut gut!' in the Implementation of the E&M System for Children” and “Measuring Social Status within the Evaluation and Monitoring System of 'Tut gut!'”. The aim was twofold: first, identifying suitable tools for assessing health-related behavior in children aged 6 to 10; second, expanding data collection on the social status of participants. As part of the two-year follow-up project described here, the ZfE now supports "Tut gut!" by integrating the findings from the previous projects into regular operations. By shedding focus on how to practically and sustainably implement new insights, the ZfE provides both content-related and process-oriented expert consultation with an emphasis on implementing new tools. Additionally, this project aims to further develop existing data collection and analysis processes. This project features direct coordination with program stakeholders, workshops, ongoing support for current analyses, and the piloting of questionnaires to ensure high-quality implementation. Overall, this project aims to make a significant contribution to the further development of evaluation culture at "Tut gut!", particularly regarding the target population of children and accounting for any social disparities. This project is funded by the Lower Austrian Health and Social Fund (NÖGUS).
