Description
In the framework of the project, we would like to develop a system that will enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to obtain relevant information regarding the security of their computer network and the computers in their possession. The project's main output will be a comprehensive web-based application that, after entering the necessary information (IP address or range of IP addresses), will perform in-depth penetration testing to detect weaknesses that allow penetration of a given computer network. Many algorithms simulating various cyber attacks will be used to find weaknesses. After the penetration testing, the data obtained will be statistically analyzed. A report will be issued to report on the security status of the company's network and, where appropriate, recommendations on eliminating the risk. The project aims that the application will be used by a large number of SMEs from South Bohemia and Lower Austria and that the results of the single-point tests will be used to draw a regional picture of the security status of networks and computers of enterprises in both regions. A major advantage of the proposed project, compared to existing solutions, is that the final report will be understandable not only for erudite IT experts but also for company managers.
