of establishing an innovative interdisciplinary Master‘s
degree program in this field. The aim is to offer physicians
specialized further training across the entire spectrum of
sports medicine expertise.

This challenging continuing education course combines sports medicine basics and content from related disciplines to the highest, up-to-date scientific level.

Benefits from our study program
- For working professionals: Students will acquire the ability to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during lessons in practice-focused and cadaver lab sessions.
- Research-led: Students will cover the broad spectrum of prevention and diagnostics of sports injuries and sports related over use damage as well as the therapeutic, preventative and rehabilitative strategies in sport.
- Future oriented: Students will get sports medicine knowledge of numerous internationally leading medical specialists and disciplines is incorporated into the course. The distribution across various locations (Krems, Straubing, Basel,Luxembourg, Leipzig) emphasizes the international highest level character of the program.

The course includes a total of 60 ECTS points and can be completed part-time within 3 semesters. It consists compulsory modules and the master's thesis with colloquium .
