This continuing education study program provides practice-based expertise in the development and implementation of strategies for managing collection-based institutions such as museums, memorial sites, archives, and libraries. The areas of collecting, preservation, research, exhibition, and outreach are addressed in both analog and digital contexts, based on the latest research findings.
Particular emphasis is placed on socially relevant topics such as sustainability, democracy education, and inclusion, as well as technological developments. In addition, the program offers an introduction to interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research in the arts and cultural studies.
