Advancing EU Digital Sovereignty in Public Administrations

We are pleased to share that Assoc. Prof. Gabriela Viale Pereira, Deputy Head of the Department for E-Governance and Administration and Programme Director of the MSc AI Transformation, is a co-author and contributor to the newly published European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC) policy brief, Advancing EU Digital Sovereignty in Public Administrations: Navigating opportunities, trade-offs and open questions.

The policy brief explores how public administrations across Europe can strengthen their digital sovereignty and resilience, focusing on four key areas: people, markets and products, infrastructure, and governance. It also outlines a research agenda for developing a more coherent European approach to digital sovereignty in the public sector.
