The Department of E-Governance and Administration is pleased to congratulate Professor Maria Alexandra Cunha, one of our Visiting Professors within the Department’s Visiting Fellowship programme, on receiving the Fellows Award 2026 for Distinguished and Sustained Scholarly Contribution and Achievement from the Digital Government Society (DGS). This prestigious international recognition marks another important milestone in her academic and professional journey and acknowledges her longstanding contributions to research and practice in digital government, public administration, and innovation. 

As a Visiting Professor at the Department of E-Governance in Economy and Administration, Professor Cunha strengthens our international academic network through her expertise and engagement in the fields of e-government and digital transformation. Her contributions foster knowledge exchange across disciplines and institutions and advance discussions on the future of public administration and governance. Her achievements further underline the importance of international collaboration and of bringing global perspectives into our research and educational activities.
