The publication “Cultural Property Protection in the 21st Century: Meeting Requirements across the Forces” presents the collected papers from the international conference held in Vienna in November 2024.
The event took place at the National Defence Academy of Austria under the auspices of UNESCO, marking the 70th anniversary of the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict.
The Center for Cultural Property Protection of the University for Continuing Education Krems was one of the co-organizers of this significant international conference, which brought together experts from military, cultural, and humanitarian sectors to discuss the evolving requirements of cultural property protection in the 21st century.
The collected volume on the international conference has now been officially published, documenting the outcomes of an intensive global dialogue held in celebration of the anniversary year of the Hague Convention.
