Univ.-Prof. Dott. Ing Emanuele Gatti

Emanuelle Gatti has been involved in the restructuring of the Professional MBA Biotech, Pharma and MedTech Management over the past years and is a lecturer there himself. Furthermore, Gatti supports the cooperation between the University for Continuing Education Krems and the University of Modena in research and teaching.

 

Department for Health Sciences, Medicine and Research

Prim. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sibylle Kietaibl

Sibylle Kietaibl has been a lecturer in the Patient Blood Management seminars for many years and is largely responsible for developing the content of the university course Patient Blood Management, MSc. She was appointed Professor in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine in 2000 and has headed the Department of Anaethesia and Intensive Care at the Evangelical Hospital in Vienna, Austria since 2008.

 

Univ.- Prof. Dr. Heinz Redl

From 1998 to 2019, Heinz Redl was the former director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Experimental and Clinical Traumatology (LBI Trauma) and is now a Senior postdoctoral fellow there. Redl is a long-time collaborator in various research projects in both the Department for Health Sciences, Medicine and Research and the Department for Biomedical Research. In addition, Redl supports teaching and contributes his expertise to the Advanced Orthopedics and Traumatology master's program and as a lecturer in the Regenerative Medicine PhD program.

 

Dr. Gabriele Schlimper

Gabriele Schlimper is a long-standing lecturer for the university course Management of Social Institutions - Focus on Children's and Youth Institutions. As Managing Director of the "Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband Berlin" (Parity Welfare Association Berlin), she is significantly involved in furthering the cooperation as well as the joint development and offering of university courses.

 

Assoz.-Prof. PD Dr. med. Annelie-Martina Weinberg, MBA, MSc

Annelie-Martina Weinberg studied human medicine in Cologne and specialized in surgery and trauma surgery. This was followed by her habilitation in Hanover in 1993. Since 2010, she has been an Associate Professor at the Medical University of Graz and is a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery.

 

Prof. Dr. Gerhard Wirnsberger

Gerhard Wirnsberger completed his medical studies at the Medical Faculty of the Karl-Franzens University in Graz and completed his residency in pathology, internal medicine, nephrology and geriatrics. From 2013 to 2022 he was head of the nephrogeriatric outpatient clinic at the University Clinic for Internal Medicine in Graz and is a reviewer for various journals.

 

Department for Economy and Health

Univ-Prof. Dr. Marion Rauner

Marion S. Rauner is an associate university professor at the Faculty of Economics and Statistics at the University of Vienna. She earned an MBA in Information Systems, a PhD in Social Sciences and Economics, and a Habilitation in Business Administration. Her research interests include operations research in public and non-profit management, disaster management, health care management, strategic management, disease policy modeling, and technology assessment.

 

Dkfm. Dr. Christoph Zulehner, akad. LdP

Christoph Zulehner’s support is direct at the health care management courses of the department. He is an independent entrepreneur and keynote speaker. His focus is on strategy and management of know-how-oriented companies. Zulehner is a court certified expert for the management of health care, rehabilitation and nursing facilities.

Honorary Professorship

Prim. Univ.-Doz. Dr. Florian Gottsauner-Wolf

Florian Gottsauner-Wolf has been awarded an honorary professorship by the University for Continuing Education Krems for the years 2020 - 2024. The physician works at the University Hospitals Krems as well as St. Pölten, whose clinical departments for orthopedics he heads. Since 2008, Gottsauner-Wolf has been associated with the University for Continuing Education Krems. He played a key role in supporting the Center for Regenerative Medicine in establishing the Cartilage Competence Center and contributed to the design of course curricula in the field of traumatology and orthopedics. Furthermore, Gottsauner-Wolf is engaged in research and teaching at the Department for Health Sciences, Medicine and Research.
