Elisabeth Huber

About the person

Elisabeth Huber is a social and cultural anthropologist and sociologist and has finished her PhD studies in 2017 with a thesis on the interrelations of poverty and the protection of the environment in West African cities. Since 2023 she is a member of SPACE (Social space-based research in built environment) at the University for Continuing Education Krems. Her research interests cover housing conditions in informal settlements as well as inclusive housing for women and other vulnerable groups. She is also eager to explore possibilities for socioecological transformations.
