Description

This projects targets the contribution of the Center for E-Governance to the elaboration of the future ict-strategy of the City of Vienna, the Digital Agenda Vienna, which will be elaborated together with citizens, external and internal experts and the economy. Citizens, internal experts of the field of public administration as well as external experts have filed their ideas concerning services and technological innovations and also discussed aspects of security. This discussion and innovative ideas were collected and commented at the online-platform https://www.digitaleagenda.wien.172 ideas were summed up to the following six issues: provision of services and activating citizens; security, protection and trust in the city's data; IT in education and research; digital infrastructure; the city's IT and enhancing the IT-location Vienna. According to this clustering, working groups were formed. The Center for E-Governance is entrusted with the lead of the working group IT in education and research and contributes in the working group provision of services and activating citizens. In June 2015, the project was finalized. There has been developed a Digital Agenda with concrete projects, which will be realized ("lighthouse projects") and the continuous process of further development in the shape of annual evaluation and citizen- and stakeholder- information begins.
