Description

This project focuses on providing a web-based platform which collects purposely designed educational mini games for teaching skills that newly arrived migrants need as future citizens of their host countries. The games will be designed by educators working directly with children from third countries, and then created at vocational colleges specializing in teaching game design. Through this process, we are allowing these game-design students to get real world experience, producing games for an authentic audience. Longer term, the project will seek to establish a platform where educators without the technical know-how to create gamified solutions can work with students who have the know-how but lack the pedagogical experience in order to create specialized educational apps and games. The realization of this projects relies on individual experts at national levels, which as a consortium can work together on reaching the defined goals.
