Description

To ensure the trustworthiness of AI, the European Commission has defined several key requirements that need to be fulfilled including privacy, explainability, fairness, human agency, accountability and robustness. However, so far these requirements mainly have been addressed from a technical point of view, e.g., using debiasing or privacy-preserving-technologies, and the human and educational factors have been neglected. The Know-Center and UWK will collaborate to study means that ensure (i) the human-friendly development of AI, and (ii) the human-friendly deployment of AI. This will also contribute to the certification process of AI, not only on the level of the AI model, but also on the level of AI processes and usage. Expected results: • Best practices to integrate human and educational aspects into AI development and deployment • Co-supervised Master’s and PhD students • Scientific publications
