Description
Our main objective is to develop a STEAM curriculum on “Art and Responsible Innovation”, for both initial and continuous education (master level), that will directly tackle the needs of private and public organizations that struggle to initiate and foster the right competences – creativity, unconventional thinking, empathy, emotional intelligence, sensemaking, visionary perspective - needed to sustain the development of responsible innovation. Our aim, by combining arts-based initiatives, off-site visits and academic insights, is to give participants – students as well as business managers - a deeper understanding of the ethical, social, and environmental dimensions of their innovative projects. In order to ensure a stronger connection and collaboration between the academic and the professional world – connection that was missing in our first Erasmus+ project – as well as with the artists and citizens (as we are now dealing with social, societal and environmental issues, foundations of responsible innovation), we would like to create a “LIVING LAB”. Establishing a living lab is crucial for fostering co- creation and the development of our course modules focused on “Art and Responsible innovation”. A living lab provides a dynamic and collaborative environment where stakeholders, including students, educators, artists, and industry professionals, can engage in real-world experimentation and innovation. By bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise, the living lab facilitates the iterative development and testing of educational modules, ensuring they are relevant, effective, and aligned with the evolving needs of both the private and public sectors. This approach not only enhances the quality and impact of the curriculum but also promotes a culture of continuous learning and adaptation, essential for driving responsible innovation in today's rapidly changing world.
