Thank you for choosing a continuing education study program at the University for Continuing Education Krems!

Applications for study and continuing education programs are submitted online via our application tool on the UWKonline information platform. We recommend that you prepare the required documents in advance.

Application in 4 steps

  1. Contact Us
    On the website, you will find the contact information for the continuing education study program of your choice. The contact person(s) will be happy to advise you on the options available to you and to help you put together your personalized continuing education study plan in advance of a possible application.

  2. Apply Online 
    Start your online application by creating an account in the UWK online system (UWKonline) and uploading all required documents and data. Please refer to the "Checklist Application Documents" for information on the documents to be uploaded.
    The Service Center for Students will check your submitted documents for formal accuracy and completeness. In addition, compliance with the legalization requirements for international documents, recognition of the issuing (educational) institutions and compliance with country-specific verification procedures will be checked.
    If it turns out that documents are missing or information is incomplete, they must be submitted at a later date. You will be contacted in good time in this regard.

  3. Go through the selection procedure
    During the selection process, your uploaded documents will be used as the basis for an individual assessment of whether you meet the admission requirements according to the relevant curriculum. If an admission interview is scheduled for the selected continuing education study program, you will be invited to an individual meeting (video conference or on-site appointment) by the responsible study program director. During this interview, the course content will be compared with your expectations and continuing education goals.

  4. Get admitted
    Congratulations, after successfully completing the selection process you will receive notification by post or e-mail that you have met the admission requirements. At the same time, you will be invoiced for the continuing education tuition fee (you can withdraw free of charge within 14 days of receiving the notification). Once the tuition fee has been received, admission to the course is legally effective.

Application Documents

When applying online, you will be asked to upload the required documents. Please refer to the "Checklist for Application Documents" to find out what they are. We recommend that you prepare these documents, such as the "Letter of Intent" and "Appendix Continuing Education Tuition Fee" in advance and have them ready for the online application.

International documents may need to be certified and translated into German or English.Whether certifications and translations are required depends on the country in which your documents were issued.
