Karriere_Mentoring III (Career Development Program of the Universities Linz, Salzburg and Krems)
Joint mentoring program for women researchers at Johannes Kepler University Linz, Paris Lodron University Salzburg and the University for Continuing Education Krems.
In 2010, the universities of Linz, Salzburg and Krems jointly developed the ‘Mentoring III’ program to promote the scientific careers of women at all three universities and to exploit synergies through cooperation between the three universities.
‘Mentoring III’ or, from 2017, ‘Karriere_Mentoring III’ enables women researchers to establish subject-specific mentoring relationships with established women researchers, to acquire knowledge in key areas of expertise in the scientific field and to expand their professional networks.

Karriere_Mentoring III, 6th round, 2024-2025, Kick-off in Gmunden
At the end of May 2024, the 6th round of the joint mentoring program of the Universities of Krems, Linz, and Salzburg officially began with a kick-off event in Gmunden.
At the beginning, the mentors who had traveled to the event had the opportunity to learn about the program, its structure, and the tasks and opportunities for mentors and mentees in a “mentoring lounge” designed especially for them. An improvisational theater performance was organized to help the mentees get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere. In the evening, there was an opportunity to engage in in-depth conversations and further networking at a networking dinner. Over the following days, the mentees completed the first modules.
