Advancing AI skills through European collaboration

The Department for E-Governance and Administration is one of the leading partners in AISHA – Artificial Intelligence Skills Hub Academy, a €7 million EU-funded initiative, co-financed by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), dedicated to strengthening generative and advanced AI skills across Europe. The project brings together expertise in knowledge development, education and training, ecosystem building, and skills measurement.

Within AISHA, the University for Continuing Education Krems leads the delivery of programs, with a particular focus on adult education. This includes implementing, delivering and evaluating cross-sector pilots that bring GenAI skills into practice and developing approaches that are scalable, sustainable and evidence-based.

The initiative closely connects with the Department’s study programs, particularly the MSc AI Transformation, bringing cutting-edge European AI developments and practical experience into the skills and competencies needed to shape AI-driven transformation in organizations.
