The Association of the Austrian Music Industry (IFPI Austria) is once again offering partial scholarships for the master program Music Management at the Danube University Krems. The application for the scholarship can be submitted to the Center for Applied Music Research until the beginning of the study program in December. The scholarships are awarded according to social criteria.

The international master program "Music Management" will start on December 2, 2019 for the 15th time and addresses music professionals of all fields in the music industry, musicians of any genre, as well as individuals intending to qualify for careers in the global music business. The program can be completed part-time in five semesters and concludes with the academic degree of a "Master of Arts". The contents of the curriculum include project management, international music industry, general management, international music law, as well as music and media.

Music management graduates from Krems are in high demand!

Due to its international orientation (English language) and its modular system, the Music Management Master of Arts program is unique in the German-speaking world. The graduates of this extra-occupational study program are equally in demand. Today they hold leading positions in festival management, orchestral management, the music industry and independent companies.

The international faculty includes leading music market experts such as Sean Hickey (Senior Vice President, Sales and Business Development, Naxos of America), Judith Merians (Senior Lawyer in Hollywood), and David Burke (Managing Director of the London Symphonic Orchestra).
