We invite participants to explore discourses, practices, ethics, and politics of care in contexts of collecting, preserving, restoring, curating, interpreting, and managing or organizing, by asking: Who cares for objects, materials, data, and their histories – also in view of the social mission and responsibility of heritage institutions? How are decisions made about what is preserved, restored, or allowed to decay?

The role of music in international relations was discussed by experts from academia, cultural policy and music practice at the symposium titled Current Challenges and Opportunities for Cultural Diplomacy – The Case of Music.
At the cross-border expert and networking meeting held on 26 March 2026 at Mikulov Castle, experts from Austria and the Czech Republic came together within the framework of the Roman Trails project to strengthen connections, link perspectives, and exchange insights on current results, new trail ideas, and innovative approaches to communicating Roman heritage.
