The GCCIT project aims to develop a joint Czech-Austrian (distributed) test infrastructure that optimises processes in data centres or other local computing clusters in such a way as to achieve high energy efficiency and sustainability through the use of renewable energy sources. This will enable companies to operate their infrastructure using renewable energy as effectively as possible, and to test and develop innovative solutions for practical application.
Detailed information about the project can be found on the website of the Interreg Austria-Czech Republic Programme. The website also provides information on current events and project results.
