Description
The Austrian Data-Services Ecosystem is an innovation-facilitating structure at national level. It brings together algorithms, tools, and methods for intelligent data analytics along the data value chain, and provides data curation, discovery and preservation services through the use of innovative cloud-based approaches. The Data-Services Ecosystem allows end users to process and analyse open data, semi-closed data as well as even closed data without actually having to access or “see” the data. It also assists start-ups and SMEs in gaining access to data, and prepare and coordinate funding for start-ups developing data-centred applications. A business model around the Ecosystem ensures that all participants, from data providers to solution providers, receive fair remuneration for their contributions, and will ensure the sustainability of the Data-Services Ecosystem.
