Description

The aim of the project is to evaluate innovative mobility concepts to enhance sustainable mobility in rural areas. The primary focus is on measures that are related to residential buildings which can be implemented in the housing subsidy of lower austria. The concepts will be analyzed and evaluated depending on the existing conditions (size of the housing, number of inhabitants, degree of urban sprawl or densification and framework conditions like infrastructure, public transport, pedestrian and bicycle paths, etc.) for their feasibility. The project results finally serve as a basis for the planning of a pilot project in a lower Austrian municipality, where the mobility concepts are implemented in concrete terms.
