For the further course of studies, a notice is required from the 2nd semester onwards. Within the duration of studies stipulated in the curriculum, this takes place by payment of the participation fees. If the duration of studies stipulated in the curriculum is exceeded, the fees due in the event the duration of studies stipulated in the curriculum is exceeded are payable.
In the DUKonline-System, you can find information about the payment under the tab "Registration Status and Participation Fee". By payment, you register continuation of your studies for the next semester.

Your registration for studies per semester takes place automatically after timely payment of your participation fee – please see your invoice for terms of payment.
In the event you are enrolled in several studies courses, it is imperative to quote the relevant course of studies (studies code) to ensure correct allocation of the payment.
Once your payment has been posted, the status for this semester on your student account (DUK Online) will change to “registered”. You can access your documents: student leaflet, confirmation of studies and time confirmation of studies in the sector confirmations of studies. The student ticket for your student ID will be sent to you by mail.
Please note that continuation of your studies will only be possible after timely payment of the full amount. Payments that are not made in a timely manner or in full as prescribed can unfortunately not be considered – you will lose your admission to study!
Notice of continuation in the event the duration of studies stipulated in the curriculum is exceeded
If you do not complete your studies within the duration of studies scheduled in the curriculum (the part time option), you will receive a request for payment of the fee due in the event the duration of studies stipulated in the curriculum is exceeded, for each consecutive semester at the beginning of the continuation deadline by the Academic Service Center. under the tab "Registration Status and Participationn Fee".
If you successfully complete your study before 30 of November 2019 you do not need to make a payment for the winter semester.
Students who have paid the contribution to the Austrian National Union of Students at another Austrian university, can request a refund from the Austrian National Union of Students.
