Due to the high economic significance and the complexity of the insurance sector, both the research and didactic processing of insurance law are becoming increasingly important. The specialized field focuses on the legal education to train practitioners from the insurance industry on the one hand and lawyers dealing with insurance law issues on the other.
In addition, didactic and scientific works on Austrian, European and international insurance law are drawn up and published. A dialogue between practice and science takes place in the Krems Insurance Forum every year.
