Step by step to a master's degree

Our part-time continuing education master's programs last four semesters and comprise 90 or 120 ECTS credits. They conclude with the academic degree Master of Science (CE).

In addition to their strong practical orientation and ideal compatibility with work and family life, they are characterized by scientifically sound content. And best of all, many modules can also be completed individually as certificate programs (short programs) and credited toward a master's degree at a later date.

Currently only available in German.

Reasons for pursuing a master's degree

  1. Combine work and study: Those who pursue a master's degree while working are willing to go the extra mile. They immerse themselves in a specialized field or gain a sound overview. The newly acquired knowledge flows directly into your everyday professional life.

  2. Learn at your own pace and in your own style: Forget rigid schedules, weekly attendance requirements, or crowded lecture halls. Our master's programs are optimized for working professionals. There is no minimum or maximum duration of study, and exams are also offered during the holidays.

  3. Study in stages: Our programs are modular in structure. This means you can complete many modules individually as certificate programs (short programs) and then enter the master's program at a later date. The certificate programs you complete will count toward your master's degree in terms of both content and finances.

  4. Ideal mix of classroom and online learning: With our study model of 30% classroom teaching and 70% distance learning, you can combine the advantages of both worlds.

  5. Personal support instead of mass processing: With us, you are not just a student number. We offer you a continuing education study program in which you feel comfortable and personal support is a priority. You learn more effectively in small groups (max. 20 students).

  6. Your career and networking booster: Studying is more than just learning. Take advantage of the opportunity to connect with personalities and experts from across various industries and expand your network.

  7. Study in the heart of the Wachau region: Experience an unforgettable time studying in the midst of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
