Tasks

The spokesperson for people with disabilities represents the interests of Danube University Krems employees who are either disabled or suffering from a chronic illness – with the agreement of the works council.

 

The spokesperson for people with disabilities

  • informs and advises the people concerned, for example about their possibilities regarding workplace design, financial assistance, solving work-related conflicts.
  • draws attention to the special needs of disabled employees and makes suggestions for improvement, for example with regard to building or modifying existing areas at the university to make them accessible for people with disabilities.
  • ensures that the laws are monitored.
