The Working Group on Equality Issues (WGEI) at Danube University Krems was established in February 2007 and is legally mandated to counteract discrimination by university bodies on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, religion, ideology, age or sexual orientation and to counsel and support university members and bodies in these matters.
In concrete terms, the WGEI’s mandate consists of monitoring appointment procedures at Danube University Krems, providing support if discrimination is suspected, counselling in mobbing cases and cooperating with the Office for Equality, Gender and Diversity to implement Danube University Krems’ Advancement of Women plan.
All members and deputy members of the WGEI will support you with your concerns. They are sworn to secrecy in carrying out their work.
