The CEI supports all appointment procedures at Danube University Krems.
The CEI’s function during appointment procedures consists of ensuring that female applicants receive equal treatment. By law, the Committee exercises information, participation and control rights. The legal basis (incl § 42 UG 2002 and Danube University Krems Advancement of Women plan) determines that the Committee must be involved at several stages of the appointment procedure (vacancy announcement text, applicant lists, job interviews, confirmation of equal treatment). This assures efficient action, and entitles both members and deputy members of the CEI to support the appointment procedure in accordance with the procedural rules. The CEI’s primary goal in safeguarding equal treatment is supporting high-quality and transparent appointment procedures.
