Recruitment Procedures

The WGEI supports all appointment procedures at the University for Continuing Education Krems.


The WGEIs function during appointment procedures consists of ensuring that all applicants receive equal treatment. By law, the Working Group exercises information, participation and control rights. The legal basis (incl. § 42 UG 2002 and University's Equality and Womens plan) determines that the Working Group must be involved at several stages of the appointment procedure (vacancy announcement text, applicant lists, job interviews, confirmation of equal treatment). This assures efficient action, and entitles both members and deputy members of the WGEI to support the appointment procedure in accordance with the procedural rules. The WGEI’s primary goal in safeguarding equal treatment is supporting high-quality and transparent appointment procedures.
