Recruitment Procedures

The WGEI supports all appointment procedures at the University for Continuing Education Krems.

 

The function of the Working Group on Equal Issues in recruitment and appointment procedures is to ensure equal treatment of applicants and to counteract discrimination. By law, the Working Group exercises information, participation and control rights. The legal foundations (including § 42 Universities Act and University’s Women’s Advancement and Equality Plan) determines that the Working Group must be involved at several stages of the appointment procedure (vacancy announcement text, applicant lists, job interviews, confirmation of equal treatment). Efficient action can be ensured by the fact that both members and substitute members of the WGEI are entitled to accompany recruitment procedures.The primary goal of the WGEI in ensuring equal treatment is to support non-discriminatory, high-quality, and transparent recruitment processes.
