Women in Technical Education - WITE

WITE ist ein LLP Transferprojekt, das die Ergebnisse des Projekts Sitcom (Minerva, 2004-2006) nach Italien überträgt. Zentrale Aufgaben im Projekt sind der Transfer österreichischer Best Practice Beispiele sowie bestehender und neuer Informationssammlungen nach Italien, die Entwicklung und Abwicklung von Workshops sowie begleitende Materialien für BildungsberaterInnen. Grundlage der Transferaktivität bildet eine bestehende web-basierte Plattform, die Mädchen und junge Frauen zur Teilnahme an IT-bezogenen, technischen und naturwissenschaftlichen Bildungsgängen motivieren soll.

ENGLISH VERSION:
WITE is a LLP transfer project which aims at the transfer of achievements made by the Sitcom project (Minerva, 2004-2006). Important tasks in the project will be the transfer of Austrian best practice as well as related information packages to Italy, the development and realisation of workshops including seminar material for consultants in education. The project intends to exploit a web based platform that shall create motivation amongst girls and young women to enrol IT-related, technial and natural science courses.
