Beschreibung
In welcher Weise und Intensität werden Gefühle durch Medien und Kunst beeinflusst? Ausgangspunkt ist die Erkenntnis, dass Bildmedien und Emotionen eine Geschichte eng verknüpfter Wechselwirkung besitzen, die sich nunmehr im Rahmen der interdisziplinären Bildwissenschaften analysieren lässt.Das Projekt untersucht emotionale Phänomene in ihrer Vielfalt und widmet sich der Frage, ob sich die Entwicklung der Bildmedien auch aus einem Mechanismus erklären lässt, der auf immer neue Emotionswirkungen bei seinen Konsumenten abzielt.Den Kern bildet eine Untersuchung von Repräsentation und Produktion von Emotionen in verschiedenen Medien und Zeitabschnitten.
