Digitalization and Big Data are transforming healthcare – are you ready?

Digitalization, Big Data, artificial intelligence, and precision medicine are fundamentally changing the healthcare landscape. This course offers a comprehensive deep dive into the practical implications, technologies, and governance frameworks driving modern digital health.

Participants will gain solid, actionable competencies in digital transformation, regulatory compliance (including EHDS), healthcare system architectures, and privacy-enhancing AI techniques—equipping them to confidently lead data-driven initiatives and thrive in an increasingly digital healthcare environment.
Through a dynamic, scenario-based approach combining expert-led inputs with hands-on workshops and real-world "crisis injection" simulations, you will learn to tackle complex healthcare challenges, define intended use and regulatory pathways, and formulate strategic data governance models.
DI Dr. Klaus Donsa, BSc (AIT - Austrian Institute of Technology)

Healthcare is undergoing a radical digital transformation. My goal in this course is to go beyond the technology itself—helping participants grasp the practical opportunities, regulatory realities, and limitations of digital health so they can lead meaningful, data-driven change in their organizations.
