New Book: Venice, an Archipelago of Art and Ecologies

As the first volume of the SDG-focused series “Beyond the Present. Reflecting Future Orders and Disorders” by the Platform for Sustainable Development, “Venice, an Archipelago of Art and Ecologies” was published on May 16.

The book is dedicated to the unique yet threatened ecology of Venice. The lagoon city—shaped by the climate crisis and overtourism—serves as a compelling observatory for global ecological challenges. Scholars, artists, museum professionals, and curators explore how culture and society can contribute to sustainable transformation and the protection of vulnerable ecological and cultural spaces.
