The Department of Migration and Globalisation understands migration as an integral part of complex processes of internationalisation, globalisation, and social change. Research at the Department contributes to promoting a general understanding of migration as a complex social phenomenon and a social reality and thus supports the social acceptance and political capacity for action in relation to migration-related challenges and opportunities.
