The Department of Migration and Globalization predominantly researches in the fields of
- "Labor Market and Migration"
- "Integration and Migration"
- “Industrial Relations and Migration”, and
- "Gender and Migration"
Additionally we cooperate and consult in the course of international and national projects, we conduct basic and applied research to advise politics, business, civil society and the media. We trigger innovations in migration and integration policy and pilot their implementation.
We think and work across scientific disciplines and combine science with practice. To us, integration has a building-bridges function to bring migrants and on one hand the host society and institutions on the other hand together.
