The Global Observatory of Higher Education Changes (GOHEC) was continuing the discourse on higher education changes during third annual meeting from 16th to 19th of June in Rijeka, Croatia.

GOHEC’s is dedicated to facilitating a global dialogue and understanding of the changes and trends in higher education. It serves as a collaborative space for research groups and experts to systematically accumulate, analyze, and interpret data, both quantitative and qualitative, related to changes in higher education systems and institutions worldwide. Its key objectives are
- Describing and systematizing the ongoing (and emerging) changes in higher education internationally, paying special attention to innovations
- Understanding and interpreting these changes identifying system-wide and segment-wide trends.
- Predicting future developments in higher education based on current innovations, and the analysis of historical data.
- Analyzing the changes in higher education research and the training of higher education specialists.
