For several years, the University for Continuing Education Krems has been taking measures to improve the reconciliation of work, study and family. The university has been awarded the "hochschuleundfamilie" quality seal by the Austrian government several times and continues to position itself as a family-friendly institution and a family-friendly employer.
Audit
The hochschuleundfamilie audit aims to create suitable conditions for employees and students in order to facilitate balancing work and studies with family life. As part of the certification process, the University for Continuing Education Krems has agreed on 15 measures, the implementation of which will be audited externally. The measures agreed upon are located in the fields of study organization, science & teaching, place of work, and information and communication policy and are aimed, for example, at new forms of leadership, enabling mobile working or, in the area of studying, supporting students with internationalisation opportunities.
The University for Continuing Education Krems was awarded the "hochschuleundfamilie" certificate for the goals and measures set.
