Beschreibung
Ziel des vorgeschlagen interdisziplinären PhD Programms “Smart Migration and Asylum Governance (SMAG)” und der drei dadurch ko-finanzierten PhD Teilprojekte ist es, zu einem besseren Verständnis von Steuerungsmöglichkeiten und Effekten von politischen Maßnahmen im Bereich der Migrations- und Asylpolitik beizutragen und steuerungspolitische Fragen dabei in den Zusammenhang mit der Erreichung übergeordneter gesellschaftlicher Ziele zu setzen, etwa die im Globalen Kompakt für Flüchtlinge vereinbarte Ziel der Verbesserung des Flüchtlingsschutzes bei ausgewogenerer Verantwortungsteilung durch Entlastung der Hauptaufnahmeländer, Verbesserung der Eigenständigkeit von Flüchtlingen, Ausbau von Drittstaatslösungen sowie Verbesserung der Bedingungen für eine Rückkehr in Sicherheit und Würde. Damit will das Projekt zur Verbesserung der Qualität und Struktur des nationalen Asylsystems beitragen und die Kapazitäten zur Gestaltung, Monitoring und Evaluierung der Asylpolitik und -verfahren erhöhen. Dieses Projekt wird durch den Asyl,- Migrations- und Integrationsfonds und das Bundesministerium für Inneres kofinanziert, Vertragsnr. 10 ST AMIF 2319F – 230/20 BS.
