Living quality management

The high quality of the services at Department for Knowledge and Communication Management at Danube University Krems is decisive for success. A strong customer orientation, high esteem and support of all employees as well as the striving for the better characterize the quality image of department. In the sense of a lived and not only taught quality management, the first certification according to ISO 9001:2008 took place in 2008 by Quality Austria. Annual monitoring and renewal audits motivate not only to maintain the high quality of teaching and research, but also to continuously improve it. In February 2018, the department finally qualified for certification according to ISO 9001: 2015 and thus lives what is taught in the university course Quality Management.
